In fact, if you are buying an RV or van specifically for photography travel, you don’t want to miss this section of my website. From the Perfect Photographer’s RV Checklist to Pros and Cons of RV Life, you will gain insight into things to consider prior to an RV purchase that can help you avoid a costly mistake.
If you are thinking, ” Why does she know?”, let me take a minute to share my RV history with you.
RV HISTORY
–I have been RVing for photography purposes since 2003.
–I have traveled and photographed the country as a solo female for 4+ years at a time.
–Most importantly, I have learned what works and does not work when combining RV living with travel and nature photography.
I bought my first RV, a 40 foot Phaeton motorhome, in 2003 that I owned for over 10 years. During that time I traveled full time, part time and also lived stationary in it.
To learn more about why I chose a motorhome and in particular a Phaeton, please read: Welcome to my first RV: A Phaeton Motorhome.
Next I bought a Lance Travel Trailer which you can read about at: My Lance RV- The Good and Bad.
I traveled in the Lance Trailer full time for 4 + years then part time for 6 months until I sold it. Currently I am exploring options for what I hope will be the Perfect Photographers RV. Details will be coming very soon.
